Role overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and strategic growth lead to partner closely with the founding team as one of our earliest and most strategic hires. This is a rare opportunity to sit at the center of a category-defining AI company transforming the services industry and touch everything from GTM and growth to operations, strategy, and company-building.
On day one, your biggest focus will be GTM and growth, helping drive inbound demand, sharpen our go-to-market motion, and build the systems that accelerate revenue. Over time, your scope will expand as the company does. This is a role that grows with you and focuses on ownership, learning, and execution.

Key responsibilities
GTM / Growth
- • Work directly with the founders to accelerate our go-to-market motion from outbound campaigns and pipeline building to partnerships, content, and creative distribution
- • Build GTM systems from scratch that become core to how Contour scales through an AI automation first approach
- • Own conference and event execution end-to-end: pre-event targeting, on-the-ground presence, and post-event follow-through that converts conversations into pipeline
Strategic Operations
- • Drive GTM enablement: keep messaging current, build the materials the team needs to sell, and make sure what we say in the market is consistent and sharp
- • Run cross-functional projects that don't have a clear owner: identify what needs to happen, pull in the right people, and get it done
- • Serve as an extension of the founders: synthesize context across workstreams, draft key communications, and ensure decisions made in meetings actually get executed
Company Building
- • Act as a force multiplier for the founders, picking up whatever's most important, week to week and be proactive in driving results
- • No two weeks look the same. You'll move between growth, ops, recruiting, and strategy based on what the company needs most
What we're looking for
- • 2–5 years of experience in a high-velocity startup, consulting, operations, or finance
- • Hungry, highly resourceful, and wired to figure things out. You don't wait to be told what to do and love driving results
- • Strong communicator: you can draft a crisp external email, run a tight meeting, and distill a complex idea into a clear narrative
- • Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously without dropping the ball
- • High EQ and high slope. You read rooms, earn trust quickly, and represent the founders well. We want you to build relationships internally and externally
- • Proficient with AI: you're excited to use new tooling to work faster and smarter
- • Thrives in ambiguity and genuinely excited by the idea of building something from scratch and being at the ground floor of a high growth startup
