Role overview
We're hiring for a Consulting Lead — someone who has spent years running SI engagements and knows exactly where the delivery process breaks down.
The services model is changing. AI isn't just accelerating document generation; it's collapsing the distance between discovery and delivery, making it possible for a small, senior team to run engagements that used to require armies of analysts. The firms that figure this out first will win, while the ones that don't will compete on headcount until they can't. This role is for someone who sees that shift coming and wants to be the person who builds the new model.
You'll run Contour's early customer engagements, shape the methodology behind our platform, and be the internal voice of SI delivery reality as we build. You'll work directly with our founders and have significant influence over product direction.
Responsibilities
- • Own and run Contour's initial customer engagements end-to-end, from discovery through artifact delivery
- • Translate SI delivery workflows into Contour's platform: define what "good" looks like for BRDs, SOWs, TDDs
- • Build the repeatable methodology that underpins the product: the stuff that makes outputs trustworthy, not just fast
- • Partner with the founder on sales: join discovery calls, validate scope, and help close customers
- • Guide product: your field observations directly shape what we build next
- • Hire and eventually lead a small delivery team as we scale
What we're looking for
- • 8+ years in SI delivery as a solutions consultant, ideally ServiceNow, Salesforce, or similar enterprise platform implementations
- • You've run GRC, ITSM, or similar complex, multi-stakeholder engagements and managed the documentation mess that comes with them
- • You've aligned C-suite stakeholders while staying close enough to the architecture to make real decisions
- • You've written or overseen SOWs, BRDs, and change orders, and you know exactly where they break down
- • You've contributed to pre-sales: scoping, RFPs, client presentations
- • Strong communicator: you can translate between stakeholders and between implementation reality and executive framing
Nice to haves:
- • Experience at a boutique or mid-size SI (vs. only Big 4 / large enterprise)
- • CTA, CIS, or equivalent architecture-level certification
- • Hands-on exposure to Now Assist, AI Agents, or agentic automation in delivery contexts
- • Prior startup or early team experience
